Kaptur, Summers, Antonio Urge Lakewood Residents to Vote Early

At a campaign event in Lakewood,, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur joined Mayor Mike Summers and State Rep. Nickie Antonio in urging voters to cast an early ballot in this crucial year.

"With Republicans such as Jon Husted trying to suppress the vote in Ohio, it's more important than ever to vote early," Congresswoman Kaptur said.

Kaptur is the Democratic nominee in the new Ninth Congressional District. The senior woman in the U.S. House, Kaptur serves on the powerful House Appropriations Committee as well as the Budget Committee.

She is opposed by the Republican candidate, Joe, the Plumber, a right-wing activist out of the Herman Cain wing of the Republican Party.

Representative Antonio is seeking re-election in the 13th Ohio House District.
