ARMED SERVICES VOCATIONAL APTITUDE BATTERY
SCHOOL YEAR 2005-2006
WHEREAS, the Fargo Military Entrance Processing Station has supported the enlistment of men and women into the United States Armed Forces since 1952; and
WHEREAS, the Fargo Military Entrance Processing Station Student Testing Program has tested more than 8,000 students annually providing comprehensive career exploration guidance; and
WHEREAS, for years, the Student Testing Program has provided the tools, resources, and guidance needed by students to decide what career areas parallel their personal interests and attributes; and
WHEREAS, the students of North Dakota are empowered to invest in their futures and be the primary architect of their careers; and
WHEREAS, North Dakota's education system counselors can guide their students down a path of productivity towards a solid foundation where their interests and skills can be used to their full potential; and
NOW, THEREFORE, as Governor of the State of North Dakota, I do hereby proclaim North Dakota's support of the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery.
