US Congressional candidate Elise Stefanik today announced endorsements from a host of prominent elected leaders across the North Country.

"Since the beginning, I've worked hard to earn the support not only of North Country voters, but also of those elected officials already working hard on behalf of the people of the 21st District," said Stefanik. "I'm proud and honored to be endorsed by so many prominent North Country leaders."

"One week from tomorrow, I hope to earn the support of Republicans, Independents and Democrats in our campaign to bring new ideas, and a new generation of leadership to Washington, DC," said Stefanik.

A host of elected officials have endorsed Elise for Congress, including:

State Senator Betty Little:

"Elise has shown she will be a tireless advocate for the entire 21st Congressional District. She has the right values and the right energy to be an effective member of Congress from the get-go."

State Senator Kathy Marchione:

"The 21st District will have a strong advocate in Congress when voters choose Elise. She will fight for our constitutional liberties, including the Second Amendment and businesses on Main Street. We have several strong female leaders in the State Senate and Assembly and I look forward to having a strong female voice fighting for the North Country in Congress."

State Senator Patty Ritchie:

"Elise has demonstrated she has a thorough understanding of the issues that affect residents across the North Country from Fort Drum and veterans issues, to family farms and small businesses. I look forward to working with her as our next member of Congress."

State Senator Joe Griffo:

"I am proud to endorse Elise Stefanik for Congress. She has spent over a year traveling across the North Country learning about the diverse issues our district faces. I am confident she is the best choice to fight for us in Congress."

State Assemblyman Dan Stec:

"Elise has my full support and she will make a terrific member of Congress. She has a thorough understanding of the issues that matter most to the North Country, and she has the fresh energy to bring new ideas and new leadership to Washington on behalf of Upstate small businesses and hardworking families."

State Assemblyman Ken Blankenbush:

"Over the last several months, Elise has proven she can unite many voices around the table to discuss commonsense solutions for important issues facing the North Country and I know she will do the same on a national level. I am proud to offer my endorsement."

Clinton County Clerk John Zurlo:

"Elise will be a fresh voice in Congress and will bring new energy to help solve our nations problems. I have seen this first hand as she has worked hard to cover so much of this district and meet with residents to discuss common sense ways we can help the 21st District thrive."
