Jeanne Shaheen Kicks Off "Get Out The Vote New Hampshire Tour" with Elizabeth Warren In Durham, Concord and Keene

Today, Senator Elizabeth Warren joined New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen as she kicked off her "Get Out The Vote New Hampshire Tour.' Hundreds of volunteers and supporters were at the grassroots canvass kick-offs in Durham, Concord and Keene to launch the Shaheen campaign's get out the vote effort 10 days before Election Day.

"Senator Warren is a champion for middle class families," said Shaheen. "She knows a thing or two about Scott Brown, and it's so great to be with her in New Hampshire today talking to voters about what's at stake in this election."

"While Scott Brown only decided to show up in New Hampshire after he lost to Senator Warren, I've been working to making a difference for small businesses and middle class families here for decades. I will always put New Hampshire first, not Big Oil, not Wall Street and not companies that outsource American jobs," added Shaheen.

Recently, Senator Shaheen worked with Senator Warren on legislation that would allow students to refinance their loans at lower rates.

Jeanne Shaheen has deep roots in New Hampshire, raised her family here and her record proves she shares our values. In the Senate, she stands up for what she believes in, like equal pay for equal work. And she takes on the big corporations, like the big oil companies, fighting to close billions in special tax breaks.

Meanwhile, Scott Brown supported nearly $19 billion in special breaks for Wall Street and over $20 billion in tax breaks for the world's largest oil companies, which made over $90 billion in profits last year. Brown also voted to protect special tax breaks for companies that outsource American jobs.

After each canvass kickoff event, hundreds of volunteers and supporters across the state went door to door and made phone calls, talking to their friends and neighbors about what is at stake on Election Day, and urging them to get out to vote.
