Congressman Brad Sherman, a senior member of the House Foreign Affairs committte released the following statement regarding ISIS and the situtation in the Middle East.

"You're not going to be able to destroy ISIS in the next year or two without thousands of American ground causalities. However we can contain, degrade, and punish ISIS through air strikes, coalition building and military assistance."
