Job creation in New York is at a near standstill because you need an army of lawyers and accountants just to open your doors in the Empire State--and once you do, the taxes and paperwork take time and money away from actually doing business. I've had the privilege of working with our small businesses in the Town of Deerpark, doing all I can to make it easier for them to grow and hire here. The Number One thing they tell me they want the government to do is, "Get out of the way!" We can grow our economy and jobs all across New York--if we use our common sense and cut the red tape and the taxes, the way we've done in Deerpark. Albany needs to tighten its belt, live on a sensible budget, work smarter, and stop throwing obstacles in the way of hiring--and I know how to make it happen!
