Congresswoman Dina Titus of Nevada's First District announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has awarded $1,185,014 to Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada's Wilson-Fish Program for refugees. These funds will assist Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada's ongoing efforts to coordinate services and programs to meet the basic needs of refugees, and help those eligible to work find employment and achieve economic self-sufficiency.

"Since 1994, Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada's Wilson-Fish Program has provided critical assistance to those seeking refuge in our community," said Titus. "These funds will help advance their mission by increasing the resources available to help refugees overcome barriers to job placement, find employment, and achieve financial independence."
