Joni Hits Road For "Iowa Knows Best" Tour of Iowa's 99 Counties

Following Thursday night's final U.S. Senate debate, Republican Senate candidate Joni Ernst will hit the road today to finish her statewide tour that will take her to all of Iowa's 99 counties before election day. Riding aboard the campaign's specially outfitted RV, the "Iowa Knows Best" tour will bring Joni face-to-face with thousands of Iowans in the campaign's final weeks.

"I know Iowa voters want to talk to candidates face-to-face, and I can't wait to do that," Joni said. "For the next 18 days, we'll be crisscrossing Iowa and talking with as many people as we can. We have a lot of momentum because Iowans are ready for a new direction in Washington."

Over the course of the next two weeks a number of leaders will join Joni on her aggressive road tour, including Governor Mike Huckabee, Senator Rand Paul, Governor Chris Christie and others. The "Iowa Knows Best" tour will travel through western Iowa on Friday, and after seven events will end at a high school football game in Council Bluffs. The tour will then head to the east, hitting another seven stops including Hiawatha, Albia and finishing at a Chili Cook-Off in Osceola on Saturday night. By Election Day, Joni will have visited all of Iowa's 99 counties in 44 days.
