Brownley Meets with VA Secretary Robert McDonald

Today, Congresswoman Julia Brownley (D-Westlake Village) met with Secretary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Robert McDonald.

"Today, Secretary McDonald and I discussed ways that we can work together to transform the VA so that all veterans in Ventura County and across the country receive the benefits that they have earned and deserve in a timely manner. We also talked about improving services and expanding care at the Oxnard CBOC, as well as the importance of engaging the VA with community groups like the Ventura County Military Collaborative. I look forward to working closely with the Secretary to ensure that the VA better serves our veterans."
