Floor Statement of Senator Chuck Grassley
Sen. Chuck Grassley today released the following comment regarding the "Fairness Rule" brought forth by Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist.
"Senator Frist today offered a fair proposal for both sides. The proposal is a good faith effort by the Majority Leader to reach across the aisle and make progress on this issue. The Fairness Rule does a lot of positive things, but most importantly it ensures that a President's judicial nominees are given the courtesy of an up or down vote."
