Capito Campaign Announces New Pro-West Virginia Endorsements

The non-profit organization, Corridor H, Finish It!, endorsed Shelley Moore Capito for U.S. Senate yesterday. The group's mission is to complete the construction of Corridor H and grow jobs along the route.

A key component of Capito's West Virginia Works Plan is building a foundation for a West Virginia that works by investing in new infrastructure, including the completion of Corridor H. Capito has a record of fighting for federal highway legislation to fund U.S. Route 35, Route 9 and Corridor H, and she continues to pursue funding for the completion of these projects.

This is one of several endorsements Shelley Moore Capito recently received from organizations who recognize her as the best candidate in this election to stand up to Obama and fight for West Virginia jobs. Other recent endorsements include -- the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce, the Charleston Regional Chamber of Commerce, the West Virginia Hospital Association's HosPAC, and the West Virginia Farm Bureau's Political Action Committee.

Shelley was also recently endorsed by National Right to Life for her commitment to pro-life causes.

"It is an honor to be supported by organizations that share my commitment to West Virginia values. The last thing our state needs is another rubber stamp for Obama's anti-West Virginia, job-crushing policies in the Senate. West Virginians know they can count on me to be on the front lines fighting back against the devastating Obama policies that threaten our state and our values," said Capito.

Several organizations that endorsed Natalie Tennant for Secretary of State in 2012 have chosen to endorse Shelley Moore Capito for Senate in 2014. It's clear that these groups don't believe Tennant deserves a promotion.
