Tonight's NBC Bay Area broadcast debate -- which occurred on the same day that absentee ballots went out -- provided voters a clear choice between Ro Khanna's forward-looking vision and Congressman Honda's record of ineffectiveness and absenteeism. From start to finish, Khanna dominated the debate -- providing substantive answers on the critical issues facing hardworking families in the district and articulating a refreshing alternative to the stale conversation in Congress.

"I'm excited that voters finally had the opportunity to evaluate the candidates side-by-side, as we discussed the critical issues facing the district and the country," said Ro Khanna. "Unfortunately, the hardworking people in this district have not had the type of leadership that they deserve. That's why it's so important that they were presented with a clear alternative to Congressman Honda's record of not showing up and not getting the job done."
