Former U.S. Senator Jon Kyl announced his staunch support for retired Air Force Lt Col Wendy Rogers in her run to replace Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema in Arizona's 9th Congressional District.
"Wendy Rogers is my clear choice to represent Arizona's 9th congressional District. I am pleased to endorse Lt Col Rogers who I've known personally for several years. She was one of the Air Force's first 100 women pilots and is a strong voice for freedom. Arizona has this unique midterm opportunity to elect a military leader and a business owner who still knows what it means to meet payroll." said Senator Kyl. "After serving her country for 20 years, Wendy Rogers has been creating jobs right here at home in her own congressional district. I stand with Wendy Rogers and urge Arizonans to do everything possible to help Wendy capture this winnable seat," he continued.
"I am honored to receive the endorsement of Senator Kyl. I had the privilege to work with him for many years on his service academy nomination committee. Senator Kyl's endorsement is deeply meaningful to me. I will make him proud."
