French Hill Announces National Rifle Association "A' Rating and Endorsement, Launches "Veterans for French' Coalition

Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives (AR-02), French Hill, held a press conference today at Fort Thompson in Sherwood to announce his National Rifle Association (NRA) "A' rating and endorsement. Hill also released his "Veterans for French' coalition.

"I'll push back against President Obama's gun control agenda and protect your Second Amendment rights," said French Hill. "My opponent may be proud of his "F' rating from the NRA, but I'm honored to have the NRA's endorsement."

Hill's opponent, Patrick Henry Hays, is currently the only political candidate in Arkansas with an "F' rating from the NRA, according to their website.

Hill was also joined by Arkansas veterans and announced his "Veterans for French' coalition. Coalition members have held multiple roundtable discussions with French to express their concerns with federal reforms and highlight the challenges facing veterans across Arkansas.

"In addition to unacceptable problems at the VA, young veterans face an unemployment rate greater than 20%. The status quo in Washington is not working and our veterans deserve better," said Hill.

"French Hill will be a strong advocate in Washington for the best medical care at our VA hospitals and clinics, he will fight to relieve the disability claims backlog, and he will advocate to put our highly-skilled veterans to work in good jobs. We can count on French Hill to work tirelessly for our sister and brother veterans who need help," said Colonel Doug House, U.S. Army (Retired), the chairman of the coalition and member of the Arkansas General Assembly.
