Aguilar Statement on 9/11 Anniversary

Statement

Today, in recognition of the 13th anniversary of the attacks on 9/11, Redlands Mayor Pete Aguilar, Democratic candidate for Congress in California's 31st district, released the following statement:

"September 11th is a solemn reminder that our nation continues to face serious threats, and we must remain vigilant in bringing those who seek to harm the United States and our citizens to justice.

"But in the face of tragedy and adversity, our brave men and women in uniform, including police, fire and first responders, have always stood their ground to keep us safe and make America proud. As the nation reflects today, let's recommit to doing everything we can to support our troops, veterans and military families who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedom and way of life."
