Following the release of her jobs platform this week, the Operating Engineers Local 825 today re-affirmed their support of Bonnie Watson Coleman for Congress. Watson Coleman is the Democratic nominee in the campaign to represent the Twelfth Congressional District.
"Bonnie Watson Coleman has always placed a priority on creating jobs and getting people back to work," said Operating Engineers Local 825 Business Manager, Greg Lalevee. "Her plan to tie new jobs in with the need to upgrade our crumbling infrastructure is simple and smart. It is very evident that Bonnie intends to take the same common sense approach to problem solving down to Washington that she has always employed as a representative in Trenton and she has our full support as we move towards Election Day."
Watson Coleman thanked the Operating Engineers Local 825 for their support and pledged to continue working to create jobs and fight for critical investment in our infrastructure.
"The leadership of the Operating Engineers Local 825 have always been strong partners in the ongoing efforts to get everyone back to work and we are fortunate to have their support in our campaign for Congress," said Watson Coleman. "I believe that we need to focus on creating jobs by investing in rebuilding our critical infrastructure, along with necessary funding for research and development and education programs that give people the skills they need to succeed. We need to fight every day to get people back to work and I intend to be on the front lines pushing every day towards that goal if I am elected to represent the people of the Twelfth Congressional District. "
