Location: Watertown, NY

Following a tour of Watertown's The Coughlin Printing Group, Congressional candidate Elise Stefanik today accepted the endorsement of the National Federation of Independent Business.

"I am honored to receive the endorsement of the NFIB," said Elise Stefanik. "Growing up in a small business family, I understand the challenges facing small businesses like Coughlin, and of thousands of other small businesses in the North Country. Behind every small business, there is an entrepreneurial spirit. In Congress, I will focus on pro-growth policies that help to create new jobs for our families, and encourage small business owners to invest in the future of the 21st District."

"Our members back the candidates who support small business and will protect free enterprise," said NFIB/New York State Director Mike Durant. "Elise Stefanik has shown a deep commitment to reducing the burdens on small businesses and opposing legislation that would make it even harder for them to grow and create jobs. New York can be difficult place for small businesses and it's critical that we have better representation in Washington. Our members are highly engaged in the election this year and we intend to make a difference," Durant continued.

"Having met with Elise and discussed the different challenges our small business faces, I am confident she has a unique understanding of the issues we face every day and will fight for North Country issues in Washington," said Brian Peck, Co-Owner of The Coughlin Printing Group.

The Coughlin Printing Group is a small business located in Watertown that has been operating in the area for over 127 years.
