Peters Statement on the Anniversary of September 11

Statement

Today, U.S. Representative Gary Peters (MI-14) released the following statement to mark the thirteenth anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks:

"Today marks thirteen years since the terrorist attacks of September 11th and the loss of so many lives on that terrible day and in the aftermath. Let us reflect today on those lives lost, their families and friends, and the brave first responders and volunteers who showed immeasurable courage and compassion in the face of tragedy. In honor of their memory, let us recommit to the spirit of unity and national service that brought our country together in the wake of September 11th."
