Maryland Democrats announced they have reached out to over 1 million Maryland voters since Labor Day, knocking on 87,426 doors and calling 914,872 voters to ensure Marylanders know about the crucial choice they face this fall between Anthony Brown and Larry Hogan. 7,112 supporters worked shifts in counties all across the state to continue Democrats' strong grassroots momentum heading into the final five weeks before Election Day.
This weekend, Anthony Brown and Ken Ulman spoke with voters across Maryland. Karmen Brown addressed attendees at Congressman Steny Hoyer's 3rd Annual Southern Maryland Family Picnic in Lexington Park, while Anthony Brown spoke with business, labor, and civic leaders at a Meet and Greet in Cumberland and opened the Maryland Democratic Party's new Bethesda field office. County Executive Ken Ulman laid out the Brown-Ulman vision to build a better Maryland at the African-American Coalition Forum in Jessup, while speaking with voters in Burtonsville and Catonsville.
"I thank each and every Marylander in the Brown-Ulman Brigade giving their time and support to make sure voters understand the crucial choice between our support for working families and middle class values and Larry Hogan's dangerous Republican agenda," said Lt. Governor Anthony G. Brown. "Throughout this election, Ken Ulman and I have been determined to build the strongest grassroots campaign Maryland has ever seen, and it's this support that is key as we work to achieve our priorities of strengthening working families, expanding Pre-K to every Maryland child, and improving our business climate so our economy can continue to grow."
