Today, September 17, 2014, Congressman Darrell Issa (CA-49) released the following statement regarding a U.S. Government Accountability Office's ("GAO") report on Broadcaster disclosure requirements:

"I appreciate GAO's work to respond to our request. While the data necessary for a more comprehensive answer to our inquiry was not available, I'm pleased that GAO was able to provide a better understanding of how advertising disclosure requirements apply to all broadcasters. I hope that this information will enlighten future discussions on the topic."
