Cotton Releases 9/11 Video Statement

Congressman Tom Cotton released a 9/11 video tribute Thursday morning describing how the tragic attacks of September 11, 2011 caused him to reconsider his course in life and ultimately join the Army and fight in the war on terror.

Cotton said: "On this solemn anniversary, we all pause to remember the Americans who tragically lost their lives thirteen years ago today at the hands of terrorists. We must never forget that day -- the pain and sadness will forever be etched on our hearts. But we also remember the heroism and selflessness of those who put their lives in danger to help their fellow countrymen. As we face new terror threats today, let us never forget the strength, unity, and resolve our nation showed in the days following 9/11."
