Remembering 9/11

Press Release

Date: Sept. 11, 2014
Location: Hot Springs, AR

Former Arkansas House Majority Leader and Fourth District Congressional Candidate Bruce Westerman (R-Hot Springs) today released the following statement remembering the 9/11 attacks of 2001 and 2012:

"Today we mark two solemn anniversaries: the 2001 terrorist attack of America and the 2012 attack of our mission in Benghazi. The attacks of 9/11 reaffirmed the resiliency of our nation. Our faith was also reaffirmed as our fellow citizens filled our churches to bend their knee so our nation could again stand strong. As we pause to remember the attacks of 2001 and 2012, I ask for prayers for the families and loved ones who relive their loss today. I also ask that you pray for the men and women who protect us both abroad and at home. Also remember the brave patriots who gave our country their last full measure of devotion.

"May God continue to bless America, and may He give us the strength to be forever free."
