In the wake of schools beginning classes across Arkansas, Second Congressional District candidate French Hill announced his "Educators for French" coalition.

Arkansas State Representative Ann Clemmer, chairwoman of the coalition, instructor at the University of Arkansas Little Rock, and Vice-Chair of the Arkansas House Education Committee made the following statement:

"French Hill understands the importance of education to Arkansas' future and that classroom hard work leads to success in life. French Hill supports educators and will fight for our children. Children need both devoted parents and dedicated teachers working to give each child the education they deserve. Our state's future depends on this. French Hill is committed to fighting for our state, our teachers, our kids and their parents."

The Educators for French coalition includes teachers from all facets of classroom learning, from homeschool to post-secondary, to adult education and elementary, both public and private.

Hill said, "Equal access to a quality education is the civil rights issue of our day. We must demand success, accountability, and results in every classroom."
