Barr Releases Unprecedented Debate and Forum Schedule

Today, Congressman Andy Barr announced that he has accepted invitations to participate in six candidate forums, including two debates, in six different cities in Kentucky's Sixth Congressional District before election day.

"I have always believed that voters deserve the chance to fully evaluate candidates," said Andy Barr. "In order to ensure that they have that chance, I have accepted six debate and candidate forum invitations and look forward to participating in these open and public discussions about the most important issues confronting Kentucky and our nation."

While some exact details have yet to be determined, Barr has agreed to the following six events:

Jessamine County Chamber "Meet the Candidates" in Nicholasville on September 4
Clark County Candidate Forum in Winchester on October 6

Midway College, Midway Women's Club, and Woodford County Chamber of Commerce Candidate Forum in Midway on October 16

Kentucky Tonight "Candidate's Programs" moderated by KET's Bill Goodman in Lexington on October 20

Shiloh Baptist "Operation Turnout Voters Forum" in Lexington on October 21

Debate moderated by WKYT's Bill Bryant at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond on October 27
