Boyle Receives Endorsement of PA AFL-CIO

Last week, Rep. Brendan Boyle received the endorsement of the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO for Pennsylvania's 13th congressional district. The AFL-CIO, who have over 900,000 members across the state, offered their strong support to Boyle, who has the unanimous backing of labor unions in the 13th congressional race.

In a statement, Boyle thanked the labor union for its support and pledged to stand up for the priorities of working families across the 13th district:

"I want to thank the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO for their overwhelming support of my campaign for Congress," said Boyle. "I know that the thousands of AFL-CIO households across this district are eager to elect someone who will fight every single day for working families and our communities, and I am proud to stand with them and eager to work toward a win in November, so that we'll have the opportunity to work on these issues in our district and in Washington for years to come."

Boyle's father was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and is currently a Transit Worker Union Local 234 member, and his mother was an AFSCME member for over 20 years. Boyle is the Democratic nominee for the 13th district.
