Sullivan Receives First Endorsement from Alaska Support Industry Alliance In Nearly 20 Years

Dan Sullivan, candidate for U.S. Senate, has received the endorsement of the Alaska Support Industry Alliance's Board of Directors, in an unprecedented move by the oil, gas and mining trade association.

"As a board, we believe this election and the make-up of the United States Senate are critical to resource development in Alaska," said Board President Dave Lawer. "While the Alliance has traditionally not endorsed candidates, we have to ask ourselves, "are we better off today in the resource development community than we were six years ago?' And the answer is a resounding no. In fact, we are operating in an unprecedented anti-development environment. The time for strategic decisions has come. Dan Sullivan's efforts to fight federal overreach give us confidence that he will continue to fight for the best interests of Alaska."

The Alliance is an oil, gas and mining trade association with 500 member companies representing 30,000 employees in Alaska. Their mission is to promote responsible development in Alaska.
