The Thom Tillis campaign today unveiled a new television ad titled "Math," which will begin airing next Tuesday.

The ad highlights Thom's leadership in providing North Carolina teachers with a historic pay raise while contrasting his record of results with Kay Hagan's record of rubber-stamping President Obama's failed policies.

Under Thom's leadership as Speaker, education funding has increased every year. This summer, he played an instrumental role in achieving a compromise budget that fulfilled his promise to give teachers a much-deserved salary increase. The average 7 percent pay raise instantly makes North Carolina among the most competitive states in the region for teacher compensation.

While Thom has delivered on his promises to North Carolina students, parents, and teachers, Kay Hagan has been a partisan rubber-stamp for President Obama, voting with him 96 percent of the time over the last two years. Hagan has mortgaged America's future by supporting Obama's out-of-control spending, and the national debt has increased by more than $7 trillion during her tenure in Washington.
