Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation PAC Endorses Tom Emmer

Yesterday, the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation Political Action Committee (MFBFPAC) endorsed Tom Emmer for the Sixth Congressional District. Based on Emmer's record and his response to Farm Bureau issues, the Farm Bureau Federation PAC said they will continue to work with Emmer to bring light to the needs and concerns of farming families and communities.

Emmer said, "Carrying these voices to Congress is an honor. I'm glad to have the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation PAC as a resource and a friend in this campaign, and I look forward to working with them beyond the election." As of 2012, the USDA Census data lists more than 5,700 farms operating in the sixth district and accounting for more than nine hundred million dollars of agriculture product.

Notably, the district has diverse interests from the northern and western suburbs to Central Minnesota, and along with the MFBFPAC, a previous endorsement by the US Chamber of Commerce demonstrates Emmer is working to earn support from the entire Sixth District.
