- $47 billion underfunded pension systems need addressed, but not expense of taxpayers and current members. Government needs to move new hires to a defined contribution system or 401(k) style retirement system.
- PA is only two states in the Union to retain control of liquor sales and has state employees with state benefits selling the product. I support placing wine and spirit sales in the private sector.
- We must provide a quality education to every child that offers them the opportunity to develop to their maximum potential. This can't be done by a top down approach in government. Education needs to put our students first and parents in charge. Learning starts with the child then the parents and ends with the teachers.
- Unemployment and underemployment is a major concern as well. Pennsylvania needs to create a more business friendly climate with less taxes and regulations to market our empty buildings and dedicated workforce.
