Mitt Romney to Campaign in West Virginia

Governor Mitt Romney -- the Republican presidential nominee who won all 55 West Virginia counties in 2012 -- will campaign with Republican candidates Shelley Moore Capito, Evan Jenkins and Alex Mooney in West Virginia on Tuesday, August 19.

Governor Romney will attend a fundraising event in Charleston followed by a Working for West Virginia Jobs Rally in Beckley.

"West Virginians have a clear choice in this election -- allow President Obama to continue killing coal jobs or fight back by electing pro-coal advocates Shelley Moore Capito, Evan Jenkins and Alex Mooney. These candidates support the policies that will put West Virginia on a path toward economic prosperity, job-growth and freedom from Obama's overreaching policies that threaten West Virginia's way of life," said Governor Mitt Romney.

Governor Romney won all 55 West Virginia counties in 2012 because he shares our commitment to jobs, freedom and American exceptionalism. Governor Romney's support highlights the clear difference between my record of working for West Virginia families and my opponent's record of supporting Obama's anti-coal, job-killing policies," said Shelley Moore Capito, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate.

Romney will be campaigning in West Virginia on behalf of my campaign and for the principles we share regarding job creation and stopping the anti-coal policies of Barack Obama and Nick Rahall," said Evan Jenkins, Republican candidate for West Virginia's 3rd Congressional District.
