Al Landis knows that jobs and the economy are two vital issues that cannot be ignored in our area. He also knows that economic recovery starts with individuals and families. Ohio's comeback begins with more jobs and fewer taxes. Knowing this, Al fought to cut burdensome regulations on job creators in order to make Ohio more appealing for businesses. From there, he helped cut the staggering $8 billion deficit and balance the state budget while still managing to lower taxes for families. Al has used his time as State Representative to create policies that will put Ohioans back to work. In 2010 Ohio was faced with a massive deficit, too many East-Central Ohioans out of work, and a need for long-term solutions. Thanks in part to his service, Ohio is now at the top of the list for job creation in the Midwest, with a decreasing unemployment rate and a balanced budget. Al knows that there is more work to be done, and wants to continue his service to our community by putting families back to work and helping our great state become the economic force that it once was.
