Issue Position

As your state representative, Al has fought to protect the beaches, coast, and open spaces that make the South Bay a great place to live. A former Torrance Environmental Quality and Energy Conservation Commissioner, and current Member of the Assembly Natural Resources Committee, Al always supports environmentally friendly programs and legislation. He is the author of several bills that provide for the conservation and beautification of our coasts and environment and currently serves as a board member of the California Coastal Conservancy and the Santa Monica Bay Restoration Commission.

Al supports investing in green transportation infrastructure, protecting our coast and maintaining a healthy environment. That is why Al is endorsed by the California League of Conservation Voters.
