Congressman Bob Latta (R-OH) today released the following statement in support of Israel as it takes action to defend its citizens against Hamas, which continues to launch rockets from Gaza:

"My thoughts go out to the people of Israel as Hamas continues to launch rockets into heavily populated areas from Gaza," said Latta. "Israel is our greatest ally in the Middle East, and I stand with all Israelis as they take the necessary actions to defend themselves."
