In a nationwide announcement this morning, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin formally endorsed Congressional Candidate Barry Loudermilk. Governor Palin's endorsement adds to the impressive and growing list of conservative leaders and organizations that believe Barry Loudermilk is the right choice for Georgia's 11th Congressional District in this crucial time in America's history.
"Barry Loudermilk has a proven record of conservatism in the Georgia General Assembly, one that I hope he can bring to the weak-kneed in the halls of Congress. Barry is an Air Force veteran, small business owner, father, grandfather, and husband who met his beautiful wife in the great state of Alaska many summers ago," said Governor Palin. "Barry will take his strong work ethic, life experiences, and conservative principles to Washington where he will join the fight to restore our great nation and use the Constitution as his guide. Please join me in supporting Barry Loudermilk for U.S. Congress on July 22nd."
Loudermilk, having lived and worked in Alaska, contacted Governor Palin about earning her support for his candidacy for Congress. In response to learning of Palin's endorsement, Loudermilk said, "I am honored to have the endorsement of Governor Sarah Palin for my campaign for U.S. Congress. Governor Palin is a strong and consistent leader in the conservative cause, and I am humbled that she has entrusted me with her support,"
Governor Palin continues to be a strong and respected voice among conservatives nationwide, and especially among voters in Georgia's 11th Congressional District.
