After losing more than 133,000 jobs and 27,000 businesses during the last term of the Doyle administration, Wisconsin added more than 100,000 jobs and 15,000 businesses in the last 3 years of the Walker Administration, an accomplishment I am proud to be part of. The unemployment rate was 9.2% four years ago, and is now 6.2%. Wisconsin is getting healthy again! As an executive in the private sector, the "we are hiring sign" is back up! But there is no doubt, we have more work to do! We need to continue to cut the red tape, reduce cost, and become a more employer friendly state. I am proud of my bi-partisan approach to co-authoring bills and working hard to keep "Skyward" and hundreds of good paying jobs in Wisconsin.
