Through hard choices the 72nd Assembly District is seeing many positive change
This session has been very successful for Central Wisconsin. From saving hundreds of jobs at Skyward to making sure that all Wisconsin residents in poverty have access to healthcare many long standing local issues are finally being dealt with.
For far too long we have had career politicians serving this district who have constantly stayed away from dealing with the tough issues. Taking on the task of making tough decisions, our good choices are putting this area back on the path to prosperity. From day one I have said citizen input is the driving factor in all positive change. This session I have held over 60 listening sessions in all corners of the district, in towns and cities, big and small. The creation of my citizen advisory committee on groundwater has been a great advance in gathering input from the district as well. I look forward to starting more citizen groups in the next session. With less contention this session, working together with colleagues from all over the state and on both sides of the aisle has led to amazing success.
I am always proud to say that every bill of mine, signed by the Governor into law, had wide bipartisan sponsorship and the floor votes to match. From the time of inauguration, through the state budget, and with my work as the Chairman of the Children and Families committee my commitment to getting Wisconsin families back on track has not wavered. We have done some great things this session.
It is my pleasure and honor to serve Wood, Adams, Waushara and Portage counties. My door is always open and I look forward to many great conversations all over the district.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve
