Brown-Ulman Campaign Releases Debate Proposal: Debates Will Reach More Marylanders than Previous Two Gubernatorial Elections

Today, the Brown-Ulman campaign released a debate proposal for the general election. While maintaining the tradition set from previous gubernatorial elections, this schedule will reach more Marylanders by ensuring that all of the debates are broadcast statewide.

Debates Lt. Governor Anthony Brown proposes participation in:

*Baltimore WJZ/Baltimore Sun debate, broadcast statewide on MPT;
*Capital region NBC 4/Washington Post debate, broadcast statewide on MPT;
*Radio debate on the Larry Young Radio Show partnered with the Kojo Nnamdi Show to be broadcast statewide on NPR.

Under the proposal, County Executive Ken Ulman will also participate in a Lt. Governor debate in Western Maryland.

"Marylanders have a real choice in this election and I look forward to debating my vision for a better Maryland with Larry Hogan," said Lt. Governor Anthony Brown. "During the Primary, Ken Ulman and I had the opportunity to participate in over 30 debates and forums across Maryland and we look forward to doing more of them before the November 4th election."

Just like in the Primary, Lt. Governor Brown and County Executive Ulman will also participate in numerous candidate forums across the State.
