French Hill Advances to "Young Gun"

The National Republican Congressional Committee announced today that French Hill has reached "Young Gun" status, the top tier of the committee's three-level recruitment program. He has reached the third and final level by establishing a clear path to victory through his ability to build a formidable campaign structure and achieve important goals and benchmarks. Originally founded in the 2007-2008 election cycle by Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA), Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), the Young Guns program supports and mentors challenger and open-seat candidates in races across the country. Hill is running in Arkansas' 2nd Congressional District.

"Our job as a committee is to help elect Republicans to office that will serve as a check and balance on the Obama administration," said NRCC Chairman Greg Walden. "French has outlined conservative principles that will grow jobs, stop the harmful effects of ObamaCare, and get Washington's spending under control. French has met a series of rigorous goals that will put him in a position to win on Election Day."

A ninth generation Arkansan, French Hill has devoted himself to building central Arkansas as a premier place to live, work and raise a family. French served as Deputy Assistant Treasury Secretary under President George H. W. Bush, and later founded Delta Trust, a banking and investment business headquartered in Little Rock.

Having worked in the private sector and in financial institutions affected by the Obama Administration's big-government, tax and spend agenda, Hill has seen firsthand the struggles and challenges that businesses in Arkansas and across the country face.

He and his wife have two children and live in Little Rock.
