Snohomish County is not only a great place to live, but a great place to do business. The state needs to continue to find ways to find ways to make attract businesses to our region that provide family wage jobs. This means investing in workforce development, worker retraining programs through our local colleges and universities and new apprenticeship programs so we can provide the skilled workforce that employers need.

It's important to remember that we can't continue to have a race to the bottom. Families are struggling and we need to provide a more competitive wage for workers so they can support their families. A secure middle class is an investment in the future of our state. I will always be an ally of working families and will work to make the state a great place to do business.
