Provide Safe and Clean Communities
We are fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful communities in not only Washington but the country at large. We have an obligation to continue to make our region a great place to live and raise a family. That means making sure we are good stewards of our environment, provide parks and open space for local residents and work to clean up the Puget Sound.
Part of promoting strong communities is also prioritizing safe communities. On the city council I worked to invest more in local police and fire funding and in the legislature I will be an advocate for new laws to keep firearms out of the hands of violent felons and will always look for new ways that the State can partner with local governments to invest in local public safety programs.
