U.S. Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10) with U.S. Congressman Randy Weber (TX-14) introduced a measure today calling for the immediate, unconditional release of the three kidnapped Israeli teenagers held captive in the West Bank.
"In the days since Palestinian terrorists kidnapped the three Israeli teenage students, Eyal Yifrach, Gilad Shaar, and Naftali Frankel, I have watched with grave concern and prayed for their safe return," Schneider said. "As a father of two young boys, I can't fathom the anguish of the parents. I join my colleagues today in solidarity with the families, as well as the people and the government of Israel, as they seek to bring the young students home. Let us all keep these captive boys, their families and their communities in our thoughts and prayers, and may we soon celebrate their safe reunification with their families."
A member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Rep. Schneider is a leader in working to strengthen the U.S.-Israel partnership and enacting sanctions against terrorist organizations.
