"Today the people of Alabama's 7th District honored me with their votes, and I am excited to have the privilege of continuing to be their representative in Washington. Four years ago we began this journey to provide resources and opportunities in the 7th District, and I am proud that the people of the district have endorsed the job we've done and believe we can tackle the work that lies ahead. I will continue to fight for better economic opportunities and to stand up to Republicans who try to roll back our progress. I have President Barack Obama's back in Congress, and I want my constituents to know that we are both working hard for them!
