Cramer Statement on Draft SEIS for Northwest Area Water Supply Project

Statement

Date: June 20, 2014
Location: Washington, DC

Today Congressman Kevin Cramer released the following statement after the draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) for the Northwest Area Water Supply Project (NAWS) was published by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation:

"There has been a great deal of personal and government investment in the water infrastructure for those to the north of Lake Sakakawea. This is a good development and I'm sure our local experts will demonstrate the importance of this project at the public hearing in Minot on July 23rd. I also encourage any interested or concerned citizens to submit their comments on the project to the Bureau in the coming weeks. I believe the evaluation process has gone on long enough and it's about time reliable, high quality water be delivered to the people of North Dakota."
