Issues: Higher Education
Our focus as a society must be to provide a world-class education for all our children, and to ensure affordable, accessible higher educational opportunities so that we can retain our best, brightest, and most industrious students.
In the state legislature, I led the charge to strengthen our state's higher education system that resulted in more opportunities for students and more resources at Rutgers-Camden and Rowan Universities and paved the way for a medical sciences research hub in our backyard.
In Congress, I will continue these efforts to support our public schools and increase participation in our region's outstanding universities, community colleges, and trade schools.
