I want every child to have more opportunities, and a brighter future, than their parents and grandparents were offered. This has always been the American way. Unfortunately, that's not the path we're on as a nation today.

For my wife Diana and me, nothing is more important than raising our two beautiful twin daughters, Mikayla and Arianna. They're two of the most important reasons I'm running for Congress.

I want every child to have more opportunities, and a brighter future, than their parents and grandparents were offered. This has always been the American way. Unfortunately, that's not the path we're on as a nation today.

Throughout his first term and now into his second, this President has pushed aside basic, core economic principles in favor of priorities that are designed to reshape America into a country our Founding Fathers wouldn't recognize.

Not only has he failed to turn around the economy and restore the jobs and opportunities lost in the great recession, his outrageous borrowing and reckless government spending have only succeeded in burdening our children--and their children--with a mountain of debt that they'll have to dig themselves out from before they can even hope to earn their share of the American Dream.

It's not too late, but we have to turn things around right now. And I'll carry the fight to Washington--for your kids and for mine.
