Cornyn Statement on Administration's Response to Border Crisis

Statement

U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) issued the following statement after the Obama Administration finally announced efforts to deal with the humanitarian crisis along our southern border:

"Unfortunately this humanitarian crisis is one of the President's own making. After years of ignoring the law and sending a very dangerous message to Central American families, the Administration is finally taking small steps to address this enormous problem. Now, it remains to be seen if the President will follow through."
