The Constitution clearly defines that the federal government is limited to only eighteen powers and, as the Tenth Amendment confirms, the remaining powers are reserved to the states or retained by the people. However, through limitless spending by Congress and judicial activism, the power of the federal government has exponentially grown to the point that it has even begun to take over the free market system. We must restore to the states their sovereignty, to the people their liberty, and reduce federal abuses of Constitutional authority.
