Statement on the abduction of three Israeli teenagers

Statement

I join with many in the 9th Congressional District and around the world in expressing my deep concern for the three Israeli teenagers who were abducted on their way home from school last week. My thoughts and prayers are with Eyal Yifrah, Gilad Shaer, and Naftali Frenkel (who is also an American citizen), their families and friends as we do everything we can to ensure their safe return. I commend Secretary of State John Kerry for his strong response and urge all parties, including the Palestinian Authority, to do everything possible to achieve the prompt release of Eyal, Gilad and Naftali.
