Issue Position

My years of service in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, which included a tour of duty in Iraq, provided me firsthand knowledge of the issues and problems our soldiers face while serving in a war zone and returning home. America has the greatest military in the world, and I have fought every day in the U.S. House of Representatives to make sure that legacy continues and our freedoms are protected. I support the funding our military needs to get the job done and protect our men and women in uniform. I have also actively fought against bureaucratic practices and policies that limit the religious expression of our service members.
