Improving the Quality of Our Public Health Care System.
Prince George's County leads the state in infant mortality rates. I will work in partnership with the federal, state, local, and private health organization to make sure that women who are pregnant can receive the appropriate prenatal care that is needed in order to decrease the risk of infant mortality. I will also work to provided funding to conduct research in the area of uterine fibroids a health problem that is dominated by African American Women.
